Caring for your jewellery

Sterling silver reacts with chemicals in the air and tarnishes over a period of time.

To help avoid tarnish, store jewellery in airtight containers or grip seal bags with an anti-tarnish strip or sachet of desiccated silica gel and activated charcoal.

Store pieces seperately to avoid scrathching

Avoid exposing your sterling silver to direct sunlight, household chemicals or when swimming in chlorinated water, hair products, perfumes, cosmetices, perspiration, rubber and latex, as these chemicals can damage sterling silver.

To help reduce tarnishing tarnishing remember to apply your hairspray and perfume BEFORE putting on your jewellery.
